Strait of Magellan Transit
The protected route between the Atlantic and the Pacific. Compulsory pilotage Bahía Posesión ↔ Punta Arenas in both directions, 48-hour notice, two channel pilots. Includes a map of the compulsory sections. Distinguishes pure transit from transit with activity.
Cargo Handling, Customs & Last Mile
Import and export, cargo in transit, receiving and consolidation, bonded warehousing, project cargo, dangerous goods, last-mile delivery to vessel, base or aircraft. Customs clearances, temporary admission and ship's-stores declarations.
Crew Handling
Every airport in Chile, own staff in SCL, PUQ and WPU. Reception, flights and connections, hotels, ground transport, sign-on and sign-off, visas and immigration, medical assistance, repatriation, Antarctic scientific personnel.
Antarctic Logistics
From both Chilean gateways, PUQ and WPU. Station resupply beyond food: repairs, servicing, maintenance and inter-season storage. Handling of frozen, refrigerated, dry and liquid-nitrogen scientific samples.
FBO Aviation Services
Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales and Puerto Williams. Ground handling, permits and overflight, fuel, crew and passenger assistance, catering and cargo. Rest of the country via sub-agent.
Ship Chandlering
Fresh and frozen provisions, dry stores and beverages, bonded stores, cabin and deck items, technical equipment and spare parts, Antarctic station resupply.
Storage & Bonded Warehouse
Own warehouses. The bonded area allows goods to be received, held under customs control and released directly to vessel or aircraft without leaving the regime. Bonded facilities in Punta Arenas and Puerto Williams.
Organic Waste Incineration
The only incinerator in Magallanes authorized for organic waste from foreign-flag vessels. Documented chain of custody, with no dependence on facilities outside the region.
Waste Management & Recycling
Receiving, segregation, transport and disposal: garbage, plastics, glass, metal, used oil and sludge. MARPOL Annex V handled with own equipment and documentation for the garbage record book.
Pilotage & Navigation Tracks
