A team built for the far south
Shackleton's Way began in 2016, coordinating Antarctic station resupply and equipment rental from Punta Arenas. In 2021, Shackleton's Way Ship Agents was formally established, bringing ship agency, chandlering, crew handling, cargo logistics and chartering together under one point of contact — backed by a specialised team with more than 25 years of combined experience in maritime and Antarctic operations.

Milenko Buljan
In 2016, the same year Shackleton's Way was founded, Milenko Buljan was appointed Honorary Consul of Norway and of Finland. Both consulates operate from our offices in Punta Arenas — a direct line to two of the flag states most active in Antarctic and southern-ocean shipping, and a mark of the trust placed in the team here.
By 2021 that foundation had grown into Shackleton's Way Ship Agents, bringing ship agency, chandlering, crew handling, cargo logistics and chartering together under one point of contact.
