Shackleton's Way Ship Agents & Suppliers (hereinafter "the Company" or "Shackleton's Way"), with registered address at Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa 846, Punta Arenas, Chile, is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through this website (shackletonsway.cl) and in the course of providing its ship agency, logistics and operational support services. This policy is governed by Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life and its amendments.

We may collect: (a) identification and contact data (name, position, company, email address, telephone); (b) data relating to the vessel, the operation or the service request; and (c) website browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), collected through cookies or similar technologies.

3. Purpose of processing

The data is used to: manage and respond to operational support requests and quotations; coordinate ship agency, ship chandlering, Antarctic logistics, aviation and pilotage services; comply with legal, port and customs obligations; and improve the browsing experience on the website.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based, as applicable, on the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject, on compliance with legal obligations, or on the consent of the data subject.

5. Disclosure to third parties

Data may be shared with maritime, port and customs authorities, and with suppliers or subcontractors necessary to provide the requested service. Shackleton's Way does not sell or trade personal data to third parties.
