About Us

Difficulties are just things to overcome, after all.

— Sir Ernest Shackleton

Inspiration

We don't see difficulty as an obstacle

We see it as the moment our experience, commitment, creativity and ability to respond actually matter. It is precisely when conditions change — weather, schedules, logistics — that the value of an experienced operational partner becomes clear.

That mindset, more than any single service, is what the group has carried since it began operating from the far south of Chile: prepare thoroughly, respond quickly, and treat every difficulty as a chance to prove the operation can hold.

Purpose, Vision & Mission

What we aspire to be

Purpose

To make complex operations possible in some of the most challenging places on Earth, giving our clients peace of mind, confidence and integrated solutions.

Vision

To be the most trusted and respected maritime, air and Antarctic logistics organization at the southern end of the world — recognized for the excellence of our service, the quality of our relationships and our ability to solve complex challenges, while always preserving a culture that values people and quality of life.

Mission

To design, coordinate and execute integrated logistics solutions for maritime, air and Antarctic operations, providing our clients with close, flexible and outstanding service that allows them to carry out their projects safely, efficiently and with complete confidence.

"We don't aspire to be the largest company in our industry. We aspire to be the one our clients think of first when the operation cannot fail."

Values

Seven values, carried into every operation

Service Excellence

The client's experience comes before business volume.

A port call in Punta Arenas, a Strait of Magellan transit or a crew change before an Antarctic voyage leaves no margin for error. We would rather serve fewer vessels exceptionally well than many vessels adequately. Every clearance, delivery and transfer is handled as if the whole voyage depended on it — because often it does.

We Keep Our Word

Trust is our most important asset.

In maritime operations, a promise has a time and a place: the pilot on board at the agreed hour, the provisions alongside before departure, the spare part cleared through customs in time. When we commit to an ETA, a price or a deadline, we deliver it — and when conditions change, the client hears it from us first, with the real picture and a plan.

Explorer Spirit

We face challenges with courage, creativity and determination.

We operate at the gateway to Antarctica, where the great polar expeditions once began. Remote ports, extreme weather and limited infrastructure are part of our daily work, not exceptions. We approach every new route, expedition or logistics puzzle the way explorers did: with thorough preparation, creativity and the determination to see it through.

Agility & Solutions

We respond quickly and with a sense of urgency.

Winds close the Strait, flights are cancelled, schedules shift overnight. Every hour a ship waits has a real cost, so we answer day or night, reorganize fast and bring solutions, not problems. Our five companies work together so a change in one part of the operation is solved in hours, not days.

Care for People

We value our clients, our team, our suppliers and our strategic partners.

Behind every vessel there are people: crews far from home, expedition passengers, scientists heading to Antarctic stations. We look after their arrival, their connections and their wellbeing as if they were our own. The same care extends to our local suppliers and partners in Patagonia, and to the Antarctic environment we operate in, which we aim to leave as we found it.

Teamwork

Great challenges are overcome together.

A single port call can involve agency, provisions, crew changes, cargo and customs at the same time. Shackleton's Way, Amundsen, Just Crew, Fast Cargo and Only Charter work as one team, so the client has a single point of contact and a fully coordinated operation, from Valparaíso to Antarctica.

Balance

We believe a great company can be built without sacrificing the quality of life of the people who make it.

The Antarctic season is intense and demanding. We plan ahead, size our team to the workload and grow only as far as we can keep our standards. A rested, committed team makes better decisions under pressure — and that is what our clients rely on when the operation cannot fail.
